The City Council of Malaga, through the National Pole of Digital Content located in Tabacalera, and the School of Industrial Organization (EOI), have launched the eleventh edition of the Go2Work pre-incubation program specialized in the development of projects dedicated to the entertainment sector (Media and Entertainment), especially videogames, and which already has more than 200 projects developed.

The call is open to entrepreneurs in the XR (Virtual/Augmented/Mixed Reality), Digital Media and Video Game Development sector with a business project in the early stage of development or with a recently created startup (no more than 6 months before its incorporation to the program).

The projects must necessarily be focused on the field related to the target industry, the Digital Media sector (audiovisual production, cinema, radio, television, music, sound and digital media) and the video game sector (digital entertainment, Serious Games, eSports, gambling and/or related) on any platform (mobile phones, PCs, Smart TVs, consoles, etc.), as well as the provision of solutions to the market that incorporate XR technologies, identified as Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Mixed Reality and 360 solutions, as well as 3D printing.

Regarding the workshops, most of them free access and mandatory for coworking participants, they serve to help entrepreneurs to develop and validate the business model with agile methodologies adapted to the industry, as well as to develop the essential skills to put it on going.

Among them "Lean Start Up: Evaluation and validation of your business model", "Digital Startup Acceleration Tools", "Financing: Crowdfunding, Publishers & Investors", "Positioning strategies and advertising on social networks", "Elevator Pitch ”, “Storytelling for entrepreneurs”, “Digital Marketing” and “Finance for non-financial entrepreneurs”, are some of the workshops that will be taught over six months.

In turn, the entrepreneurs have the additional dedication of specialist mentors in those specific matters of the industry that the creation of their product requires.

The program is complemented with activities aimed at promoting networking. This is the case of the Demo Day, an activity that serves as the closing of the program edition and that unites elevator pitch sessions of the projects, a demo area to publicize the solutions proposed by the projects, thus obtaining feedback on their products. to be able to optimize its evolution towards the market, and attracting investors.

In addition, each participant has an assigned space in the Go2Work Málaga coworking room, located in the facilities of the National Digital Content Pole in Tabacalera, where projects can be developed in an environment that encourages group work and synergies.
