Helping entrepreneurs in video games and the metaverse
The National Digital Content Hub is a public entity under the Málaga City Council, aimed at promoting entrepreneurship and building a strong ecosystem around video games, virtual reality, and audiovisual production (Media and Entertainment). Its main areas of work are verticalized entrepreneurship; video game publishing; market-oriented training; and corporate services (PoloSfera).
Created in 2017, the Polo is a project driven by Red.es that has become an innovation space and trend lab where ideas and projects in the digital content sector and related industries are developed.
Video games, audiovisual production, the metaverse, and virtual, extended, and augmented reality are the key themes in this 12,000-square-meter space and the ecosystem generated around it.
Entrepreneurship
We offer programs to support startups at every stage of their development:
Pre-incubation for the initial idea stage, helping to achieve a minimum viable product through training and specialized mentoring.
Acceleration through internationalization programs and investment attraction.
Incubation by providing spaces, materials, equipment… to develop and grow businesses.
Publishing so developers can monetize from the beginning.
Training
We develop free training programs for young people and the unemployed, aimed at preparing them for new professions emerging in the video game sector with high employability.
Corporate
(Polosfera)
From the National Digital Content Hub in Málaga, we establish synergies with major companies to drive the talent generated. We also support other regions in defining their verticalized entrepreneurship models, leveraging our experience and the success achieved in their implementation.
